Privacy Notice

How AssureOps collects, uses, and protects your personal data — written plainly, not in legalese.

Last updated: March 2026. This notice applies to visitors to assureops.uk and users of OR-360.

The short version: We collect only what we need. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties except where strictly necessary to deliver the service. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

1. Who is responsible for your data

AssureOps Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and the OR-360 platform. We are registered in England and Wales.

For data you input into OR-360 as part of your organisation's use of the platform, your organisation is the data controller and AssureOps acts as the data processor.

Contact us at any time regarding data privacy: hello@assureops.uk

2. What we collect and why

Enquiry and contact data

When you submit the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, organisation name, and the message you send. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry.

Lawful basis: Legitimate interests — responding to an inbound enquiry you have initiated.

Subscription and account data

When you subscribe to OR-360, we collect the information needed to set up and manage your account — including your name, email address, organisation, and billing information. Billing information is processed by our payment provider and we do not store full card details.

Lawful basis: Contract — processing necessary to deliver the service you have subscribed to.

Platform usage data

We collect data about how OR-360 is used — including log data, feature usage, and error reports — to maintain, improve, and secure the platform. This data is aggregated and not used to profile individual users.

Lawful basis: Legitimate interests — maintaining a secure and functional service.

Analytics

With your consent, we use analytics tools to understand how visitors use our website. This helps us improve the content and user experience. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie preferences.

Lawful basis: Consent.

3. How we store and protect your data

We store personal data on secure infrastructure. Where possible, data is stored within the UK or EU. We apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

We retain enquiry data for up to 12 months. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes, unless you request earlier deletion.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with third-party service providers who help us deliver OR-360 — including our hosting provider, payment processor, and email delivery service. These providers are contractually bound to handle your data in accordance with UK GDPR.

We may disclose your data where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of AssureOps, our users, or the public.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of access

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
